University of the Third Age (u3a): Ivybridge u3a monthly general meetings are held at The Watermark in Ivybridge from 2-3.30pm (usually) on the third Monday of each month and are free to members.

Retired or no longer working full time? Keen to meet people, learn new things, have new experiences? Ivybridge u3a could be just what you are looking for! Providing opportunities to make new friends and join a wide range of interest groups. As well as monthly meetings, u3a members have access to nearly 40 specialist groups, ranging from Language classes to Creative Writing, Dartmoor Industrial Archaeology to Country Dancing, Egyptology to Etymology, not forgetting the u3a Ukulele Group. New groups can always be set up provided they have a willing person to lead them; help getting started is always available to those who feel willing to give it a go.
