·            Torbay Symphony Orchestra Summer Series Concerts. Of particular interest to people from South Brent as they feature Sophia Jackson as the solo violinist. Sophia played violin in South Brent from a young age, joining in with the ‘Young Folk at the Oak’ sessions, moving on to play with Torbay Symphony Orchestra in her teenage years, and becoming an absolutely brilliant young violinist. She is now an undergraduate at Trinity Laban College of Music. Both concerts comprise:

-       Mozart: Overture to 'The Magic Flute'

-       Mozart: Violin Concerto no 5 in A Major (Soloist: Sophia Jackson)

-       Bruckner: Symphony no 4
