South Brent Amateur Dramatic Society (SBADS) presents a double bill: of ‘Love Letters’; and ‘Anybody can Jump’
‘Love Letters’ by AR Gurney, directed by Tim McGill, is a two-hander which traces the trajectory of a life-long love as Andy and Melissa’s deep connection is revealed in their exchange of letters over the years. A touching and humorous exploration of lives lived, chances taken, and opportunities missed.
‘Anybody Can Jump’ by James Harker, directed by Danielle McIlven is a one man show about a boy from Paignton, his estranged father, and the legendary motorcycle daredevil Evel Knievel. This comedic drama about extremes of masculinity follows a life story of glorious failure and occasional glory. Courtesy of Movable Type Theatre.
Seating will be ‘cafe style’ around tables for four, with seats allocated on the night Tea, coffee and soft drinks available in the interval at every performance; bar open from 7pm.
