Then at 3pm in Palstone Park, the professional theatre group Common Players will be presenting ‘Alice in Wonderland’, their take on the Lewis Carroll classic. The Players are well-known in Brent, having made a highly successful visit last Summer with their tale of Robin Hood, which played to a crowd of more than 300. Parishioners are invited to bring a ‘Mad Hatter’s Picnic’ and to dress to the theme if they wish. Teas, coffees and soft drinks will be available. This is a ticket only event, for residents of South Brent Parish, and again free of charge, with tickets available in person from artworksfrom Friday 20th May. There are limited numbers for both the ticketed events, so get yours early. The day comes to an end with a Barbecue and bar at Palstone Park, for which charges apply, with music until 8pm. All events sponsored by South Brent Parish Council & local councillors
