Urgently needed items for refugees: South Brent Refugee Support Network is collecting items for Humanity Has No Borders, based in Brixham, Devon to send for refugees. Latest collection date is the morning of the Breakfast Cafe at the Old School Community Centre from 9.30am-12noon on Sunday 5^th February or phone Jude on 01364 72458.

List of items we are collecting:

·      Winter clothing: Coats, hats, scarves, gloves, jumpers, jeans, leggings, thermals, underwear, socks, suitable footwear etc for both male and female, adults and children.

·      Baby items: winter clothes such as snowsuits, jumpers etc, nappies, wet wipes, cuddly toys (every baby and child benefits from having a cuddly toy to hug). Baby food.

·      Camping equipment: Tents, sleeping bags, tent pegs, tarpaulins, torches.

·      First aid kits & medical kits:- Plasters, bandages, eye pads, splints, cotton wool buds, cotton wool pads, witch hazel, Germoline, Savlon, paracetamol, co-codamol, ibuprofen, Calpol, cough medicines, throat lozenges.

·      Toiletries: Soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes, shampoo, shower gel, hairbrushes, combs, sanitary towels, razors, deodorants, nappies, wet-wipes, hand-wipes.

·      Bedding: Quilts, sleeping bags, blankets, baby and children's bedding.

·      Toys: Soft toys for babies, learning toys for toddlers, toys and activities for older children etc., cuddly toys, colouring books, pencils, crayons, musical instruments, packs of cards, footballs.
