Ivybridge- South Brent Dangerous Dads Date of event: Saturday 13th May 2017, 1pm – 4pm
Title of event: Meet the Dartmoor Zoo animals
Cost: by donation. No need to book.
Venue: The Old School Community Centre, South Brent. TQ10 9BP
On Saturday 13th May dads and male carers with children of all ages are invited to come and meet the Dartmoor Zoo animals in South Brent. The event is free and is open to any male carer wherever they live.
Organiser Ian Blackwell explains more: ‘The Ivybridge- South Brent Dangerous Dads group has arranged for the wildlife experts from Dartmoor Zoo to come along to show us some of their smaller animals. The animals may not be some of the larger predators we have heard about in the news, but they are still fascinating. Some of them you will be able to handle but others certainly not - it’s not called ‘Dangerous Dads’ for nothing. There will also be plenty of animal related activities to keep everyone entertained.’’
‘’The event is indoors and there is plenty of free parking. Our events are open to all dads and male carers in the area and their children, daughters and sons. New people are always welcome, so why not come along? It is a great opportunity to meet other dads and for the children to make new friends. We start at 1pm and will be finished by 4pm. No booking is required, just drop in when you can’.
